Commenting on maternity leave at her work, Richa Chadha said, "Although I can't speak for all women, as it depends on the physical and mental health of each person and how their pregnancy journey is, But I myself will return to work as soon as possible, I am determined to. I don't want to take any kind of leave. I don't want any long break as I have some pending commitments. I take a lot of inspiration from my mother, who has juggled both roles (professional and personal) with grace and efficiency,” says Richa Chadha, "I believe that I can also perform both duties very well and effectively because it depends on what kind of support system you have around you and how your life partner helps al you to handle both the responsibilities... In my case, I feel blessed to have found a solution to both of those things. Well I don't think it's out of the ordinary either. I have seen many women in Mumbai, even in their 9th month, catch the local train, go to work, looking fully groomed with a gajra in their bun or bra. I idam truly inspired by the average Indian woman and do not want pregnancy to be viewed as a medical condition, it is not. It's a natural part of life".

Regarding Richa signing the new film, a source close to the production of the film said, “Richa has liked the script and the film is actually a film with a fun story. Pre-production work is scheduled to begin in August and shooting will begin in October.
